Pretty much. Ray charges itself with light, indoors and out. One minute of sunlight a day is enough to run forever. Even in total darkness, it lasts about 60 days on a full charge.
Yes, fully waterproof and dustproof to IP68. Swim in it, shower in it, sleep in it. There is no charging port to fail.
